Access 2007 for Dummies I’m not going to spend too much time on this review because there are good reviews already posted that point out the shortcomings of Access 2007 for Dummies.The first third of the book is devoted to explaining what controls are and the simplest, most basic concepts that only a person who had never run a Windows program would find to be educational. I mean, do we really need to know what buttons and pick lists are and how they function? … how drag and drop works? Give me a break!We’d like to know how to create and use these controls within Access, of course. But that’s not really addressed. Most of what you can learn from this book you could figure out easily by inspection. The online help is decent and available if you get stuck.After buying way too many books on this subject, the ones I found most useful were: “Access 2007 Bible – Groh et. al.” This is a monster…
